The Science

Apollo X skin patches combine advanced actives with transdermal delivery: a thin patch, worn on clean skin, that releases its ingredients steadily through the skin over the hours you wear it.

How the patch works

Each patch is built in three layers:

  • Protective film – a breathable outer film that seals the active layer, keeps the patch in place and resists water for 8–12 hours.
  • Active matrix – the ingredients, held in a sustained-release matrix so they are delivered gradually rather than all at once.
  • Skin adhesive layer – a gentle, medical-grade adhesive that holds on clean, dry skin and removes without residue.

Delivering through the skin means no capsules or powders, a steady release over the wear time, and nothing to remember once the patch is on.

NAD+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It plays a central role in turning the food we eat into cellular energy and supports many normal cellular processes. Research shows NAD+ levels naturally decline with age, which has made it one of the most studied molecules in healthy-ageing science.

GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper peptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to copper), first identified in human plasma in the 1970s. Like NAD+, its levels fall as we age. GHK-Cu is widely used in skincare, and research has explored its role in collagen production and the look of firm, smooth, healthy skin.

SLU-PP-332

SLU-PP-332 is a newer compound developed by researchers at Saint Louis University. It activates estrogen-related receptors (ERRs), which help regulate how cells produce and use energy. In laboratory studies in mice it increased endurance and fat metabolism, which is why it is often described as an “exercise mimetic”.
